A key ingredient in joint support is green-lipped mussels, which is a type of shellfish from New Zealand. It contains many beneficial nutrients, including omega-3 fatty acids, glucosamine, chondroitin, and antioxidants that can help support cartilage and joint health, improve mobility, and support overall health. Ingredients like glucosamine, chondroitin & green-lipped mussel are commonly grouped together for their synergistic effect. This means that their paired health benefit outweighs what is seen when used as a single additive. While these ingredients are not a cure for joint problems, it is often used in conjunction with other treatments, such as exercise and weight management, to help support joint health and mobility in dogs.
Healthy Benefits Joints & Muscles is also packed with all the essential amino acids, fats, and L-carnitine a dog needs for strong, healthy muscles. L-carnitine is an amino acid that helps turn fats into fuel for the cells, providing your dog with the energy they need to exercise and play.
