About Blood & Bone
Blood & Bone is a by-product of the freezing works industry, it is steamed and finely ground into a safe and spreadable plant food. Blood & Bone contains a rich combination of potential nutrient that plants need for healthy growth. The high protein level present in Blood and Bone stimulates soil microbial activity which improves soil structure and plant nutrient availability.
Blood & Bone is an excellent all-round garden food, it is especially renowned for promoting great flowers and vegetables.

Application Rates:
Yardlands Blood and Bone is in the form of a spreadable powder, one handful is about 35g.

Trees & Shrubs:
Apply 70g/sq.m around the base of established plants. Gently fork into the soil surface without disturbing the roots. Alternatively sprinkle the powder over the soil surface, around the base of the plant and water in well.

New planting: When planting out apply 70g/sq,m to the bottom of the planting hole and mix well with soil and compost when refilling the hole.

Flowers: Apply 70g/sq.m to the soil surface and gently fork in.

Vegetables: Apply 70g/sq.m as a top dressing to the soil surface and fork in well.

Note: Rinse product from foliage.  Storage: Keep dry and out of the reach of children
