Giant Pumpkin Big Max

These pumpkins can grow as big as big as a large beach ball and weigh a whopping 50kg! Take the challenge and grow the biggest pumpkin in the neighbourhood..

How To Grow
1- Prepare your vegetable garden in a sunny garden spot by mixing in lots of organic material. Then create a mound that is 60cm in diameter and has 2m of empty space around it.

2- Press two half –a-finger deep holes in the middle of the mound, put one seed in each hole and cover with soil.

3- After about 7 days look out for the seedlings! Feed your plants with liquid fertilizer every two weeks so they grow strong and healthy.

4- Remove the weaker seedling so the stronger one has enough room to grow. Also remove all but one pumpkin per plant once the fruit has reached softball size. Pinch off any side shoots and the growing tip of the plant when it has reached 5m to stop new fruit from forming.

5- Watch your prize pumpkin grow! Water well in evenings to help it grow during the night.
