FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS:
Most livestock find field peas to be particularly palatable however they should only make up about 25% of a balanced diet.
Use dry weight when measuring ration, soak overnight in a equal volume of water for example half a bucket of dry peas to half a bucket of fresh water.
LAYING HENS:
Over autumn hens will lose their feathers and like eggs feathers are made up of mostly protein.
Feeding extra protein like feed peas during molting will help laying hens grow feathers and get them back to laying eggs.
PIGS:
Pig growers hardly need an introduction to the benefits of feeding field peas to their livestock. A growing pig over 3 weeks old can be introduced to feed peas that may eventually make up 35% of a finishing diet.
