Crimson Clover is the most attractive clover. It is a short term annual that can be used as a cover crop nitrogen fixer and source of food for beneficial insects
Time: Sow in late summer to produce rapid bulky growth. Plants will go dormant over winter before resuming growth in spring they can reach 1m high and produce striking crimson blooms in early summer.
Chop-up plants just prior to flowering and dig in to soil to maximise or leave to flower and supply valuable nectar rich food supply for bees and beneficial insects.
Sow rate: 25g per m2 or 250g per 100m2
