About Superphosphate
Superphosphate is made by dissolving natural phosphate rock in phosphoric acid. The product is made water soluble this makes it particularly useful when a quick source of plant available phosphate and sulphur are required.
Application Rates: Yardlands Superphosphate is in the form of a fine spreadable granule, one handful is about 70g.
Vegetable & Flower gardens: Apply 50g/sq. m as a top dressing to the soil surface and work well into the soil. Water in well after application.
Trees and Shrubs: Where soil phosphate level is low, apply 50g/sq. m around the base of established plants. Gently fork into the soil surface without disturbing the roots. Alternatively sprinkle the product over the soil surface, around the stem of the plant and water thoroughly.
New plantings: apply 40g/sq. m to the bottom of the planting hole and mix well with the soil or compost when refilling the hole.
Note: Rinse product from foliage. Storage: Keep dry and out of the reach of children
